Paris Saint-Germain could be deducted points for sporting director Leonardo's confrontation with referee Alexandre Castro after their 1-1 draw with Valenciennes on Sunday.
The Brazilian was angry with the red card issued to defender Thiago Silva in the first half and seemingly barged into Castro with his shoulder as the match official was making his way into his dressing room at Parc des Princes at the end of the Ligue 1 encounter.
The French Football League's (LFP) Disciplinary Commission will now review Canal+ images and could ban Leonardo for a year if it finds the former AC Milan and Inter Milan coach of "deliberate barging or attempted punches" towards Castro.
PSG could also be docked points, although the commission has never meted out such a punishment for similar incidents.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are currently seven points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table with three more rounds of matches left to play this season.
