PSV Eindhoven have gone 12 points clear at the top of the Eredivisie tonight after an away win over NAC Breda, despite having a player sent off in the first minute.
Jetro Willems was dismissed after 29 seconds, but PSV always had control of the game, and won thanks to second-half goals from Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Willems was given early marching orders for a lunge on NAC's Gill Swerts, despite staying on his feet and appearing to make minimal contact. This seemed not to disrupt the league leaders, as the game remained goalless at half time.
On 53 minutes the visitors went in front, Depay latching on to a deep cross to the back post, and finishing beyond onrushing NAC goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar.
Wijnaldum then finished the game on 74 minutes, finishing high into the net following a PSV breakaway.
