Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has expressed his delight at seeing Kieron Dyer score his first senior goal since 2007.
The injury-plagued midfielder, 34, who has only made eight appearances for QPR since moving to Loftus Road 18 months ago, was on the scoresheet as the Hoops came from behind to earn an FA Cup replay with West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
"I tried a few different players today but couldn't really see the goal coming," said Redknapp. "We were a bit short really.
"It was a good finish from Kieron and he got through a full game, which was good. He's kept going and he hasn't played a full game since I don't know when. I'm pleased for him."
Dyer's current contract is due to expire in June.
