Championship football is back after the first international break of the season and matchday six's Saturday lunchtime affair could be a cracker as Queens Park Rangers entertain Nottingham Forest at Loftus Road. Let's get straight to the team news...

Right then. Chris Ramsey makes three QPR changes, handing debuts to Gabriele Angella and Daniel Tozser, while Karl Henry returns in midfield. Those to drop out are Grant Hall, Michael Doughty and Alejandro Faurlin.

As for Forest, Dougie Freedman makes four changes to the side that were beaten 2-1 by Cardiff City before the international break. New loan signings Ryan Mendes and Chris O'Grady make their debuts, while Henri Lansbury and Kelvin Wilson come in.

Both of these sides had players that were highly sought-after in the recent transfer window. QPR managed to keep the league's top scorer Charlie Austin, but Forest are without star winger Michail Antonio, who is now a West Ham United player after sealing a deadline-day move to the East London outfit. Forest fans will hope new boy Mendes can fill the void left by Antonio.

PREDICTION: With 10 minutes until kickoff, it's time for my to make my pre-match prediction - QPR are on the longest winning streak in the Championship and they should have too much for the visitors today, especially as Austin is still a Hoop. 2-0 to the R's.

H2H: In recent meetings, the home team has tended to have the better of matches involving these two. In fact, the away team hasn't won a league match since Forest did 15 games ago in 1998. The Tricky Trees have also lost just one of their last seven games against the Hoops, but that was a heavy 5-2 defeat at Loftus Road in their last meeting in April last year.

So, the head-to-head stats point to Forest maybe getting something today, but Dougie Freedman's charges have won just once in their last 13 league games if you include the end to last season. Their away form is also poor - they are winless in eight attempts, losing four.

Forest's only win this season was also just a narrow victory over the league's bottom side Rotherham United. Perhaps the international break came at a good time and Forest will be a different animal with new signings in the team. Kickoff is moments away as here come the teams out of the tunnel.

KICKOFF! Today's referee is Keith Hill and he blows his whistle for the first time to get us underway in sunny London.

Little to report in the opening couple of minutes. Forest are in their all-yellow away kit, but there's no need as their red kit wouldn't have clashed with QPR's blue-and-white hoops.

Phillips charges down the right and wins the home side an early corner, but it Chery's centre to nothing as Forest defend it well.

Summer signing Chery has key to QPR's good recent run, scoring three goals in their last two games.

Wild shot from Phillips who picked up the ball on the right and let fly from 30 yards when the better option would have been to run further forward and swing in a cross.

Break in play here as Angella has loads of blood nastily pouring off his face. The Italian was caught by an inadvertent elbow from fellow debutant O'Grady and will hopefully be able to continue once he's been patched up. Didn't look deliberate by the Forest man.

Angella is back on the pitch with a bandage wrapped around his head to stop the bleeding. He and the whole QPR defence have had a solid start, with Forest barely threatening.

QPR have their second shot of the day as Austin finds himself in a couple of yards of space 25 yards out. He has to shoot quicker than he wanted to and he never had it under control.

Interestingly, Forest have had 60% possession in the early stages. That's good from the out-of-form away side, but they've created very little going forward. At the moment, it's hard to see where the first goal is going to come from.

One thing Tozser will bring to QPR's game is set-piece expertise. All five of his goals for Watford last season were from direct free kicks and he's just swung over an inviting corner that Mills flicked away at the back post.

BOOKING! Perch thinks this is harsh, but it is a rash challenge right in front of referee Hill and he brandishes yellow for the first time today. Perch flew in on Mendes and you have to say that stricter officials might have sent off the former Newcastle man.

Mendes has started out on the left where Antonio dazzled so often for Forest last season. It's unlikely he'll be able to completely fill the void left by the now West Ham player, but he's looked bright in the first quarter of today's match.

Great work by Phillips down the QPR right and he finds Austin on the edge of the box. He then tees up Tozser and that wicked left foot and the Hungarian's goalbound drive is blocked by Mills.

CHANCE! Huge opening and the first real chance of the match comes Forest's way. Lichaj played the ball into O'Grady who used his strength to hold off Angella before returning the ball to the defender by nutmegging his man. Lichaj just has Green to beat from about 15 yards but drills it straight at the Englishman. A defender's finish if ever you've seen one.

SHOT! Good again from Mendes, who skips away from Perch and drags a shot wide from 25 yards. This is a really good spell from Forest, but Lichaj's shot moments ago was the only one of their six attempts that has troubled Green.

QPR SUB: Angella's debut lasts just half an hour as blood streaks down his face once more. That cut is too serious and Grant Hall comes on in his place.

Not much going on at Loftus Road, but there's plenty happening at Goodison Park where Everton are already 2-0 up on Chelsea! Join my colleague Sian Cowper for updates by opening this link in a new tab.

Credit has to go to Forest's defence and midfield here. They've suffocated QPR's most talented players and Austin has had hardly any luck. Phillips has been the hosts' best player, but he's only been able to create the odd half-chance.

This might be QPR's best chance yet but it's not clear-cut as Phillips digs out a cross from the right and Luongo, on the stretch at the back post, tamely heads it at De Vries.

Lansbury has had two or three chances to put a good free kick into the box and every time he's overhit it. You can see how angry the Forest defender that have trudged up to the opposition box are.

CHANCE! Into two minutes of added time and Forest have another chance to break the deadlock. It comes from their first corner of the game as Vaughan's outswinger finds Mills, who is afforded loads of space about eight yards out but can't get any power on his sidefooted effort. Decent chance that.

No goals at Loftus Road then and it's been a half of few chances in all honesty.

Visitors Forest have been the better side and wasted the best chance of the match when defender Lichaj broke into the box and shot straight at Rob Green from about 15 yards. Either side of the keeper and it was a goal.

That's one of 11 attempts Forest had in the first half, but most were half-chances at best and only two of them were on target.

QPR couldn't do any better, getting just one of their four attempts on target. The home side also had less of the ball, with Forest having 55% possession in the opening 45.

Don't forget, QPR were forced into a first-half change due to the nasty cut suffered by debutant Angella. Look away now if you're a bit squeamish!

FOREST SUB: One change apiece now as Freedman takes off 18-year-old Tyler Walker for Jamie Ward.

KICKOFF! Forest get us back underway in West London and they've instantly won a free kick in a great position...

SAVE! A better delivery from Lansbury after some poor ones in the first half as he drills it low around the wall. Had someone got a touch to it in front of Green it would have surely gone in, but the keeper watches the ball well and clutches it to his belly.

At the other end Chery's shot takes a deflection off Pinillos and loops into the air, making it an easy save for De Vries.

Looks like Freedman will be forced into a second change in quick succession as Mancienne is lying with his head in his hands after seemingly pulling his hamstring.

FOREST SUB: Mancienne is replaced by Kyle Ebecilio in the middle of the park.

SHOT! Lansbury lets fly from distance and it's a great strike by the former Arsenal man. Green is worried, but there's just enough swerve on the ball to take it wide.

It looks for a moment like Freedman will have to make a third change as Mendes jars his knee into the turf and stays down. Seems he'll be OK to continue, though.

Tozser's deep cross reaches Perch at the back post but he makes a real mess of his header. Not sure if he was trying to nod back across goal or at the net, but it was a shocking effort either way.

"WHEEEEY!" jeer the Forest fans as Austin loses his footing just as he was about to shoot. They haven't got the golden touch in the final third at the moment, but this is much better from the R's.

CLOSE! The hosts win a corner and Phillips's inswinger is met on the volley by Onuoha, whose strike flies a yard or so wide of the target.

It opens up for Ebecilio about 25 yards out, but the Forest sub leans back a little and spoons it over the bar. Into the last half hour now and it's hard to pick a winner.

Five goals in six games for Austin as he breaks the deadlock with a left-footed strike from about 20 yards. Vaughan missed a tackle on the striker and he then had a pop that De Vries really should have kept out. Somehow it squirmed under his palms and into the net.

FOREST SUB: Freedman makes his third and final change and it's an odd one as he takes off Ebecilio just 15 minutes after coming on! Freedman wanted to bring on another striker and decided that Ebecilio would be the one to make way.

Almost an opening for Forest to level as Ward unbalances Perch before the QPR defender manages to poke the ball off the Forest's players legs despite being stricken on the turf.

QPR SUB: Luongo is the man sacrificed as Alex Smithies comes on to face the penalty which will be taken by Lansbury.

Lansbury blasts it low down the middle to level the match. The penalty came because of Onuoha's poor backpass - it was bouncing and Green took a heavy touch with his knee, allowing O'Grady to nick the ball away before Green blatantly took him out and was sent off for a professional foul.

With 15 minutes to go, can Forest go and win get their second win of the season with the hosts down to 10 men?

SHOT! Mendes was bright in the first half, but had been quiet since the break...until now! He shifts the ball onto his right foot and smashes the ball just wide.

Is that the winner? Oliveira has a dream debut as he runs onto Mendes's pass and slots home at the near post. It took a slight deflection off Onuoha and that was enough to beat Smithies. Even then, the keeper should have done better.

Forest fans will love that, especially because it was the three debutants linking up. O'Grady found Mendes and he slipped in Oliveira to tuck home.

SAVE! Oliveira wants another and tests Smithies with a low curler that the former Huddersfield man has to push away for a corner.

QPR SUB: Third and final change for the hosts, with Ben Gladwin taking Tozser's place in midfield. If anything, QPR would probably want Tozser's dangerous set pieces being a goal and a man down.

BOOKING! Silly from Lansbury as he kicks the ball away and goes into the book. He's the first Forest player cautioned.

There will be six minutes of added time. Plenty of time for QPR to find a leveller, but they haven't looked like doing so and don't really deserve it.

Really poor from Chery, who first pulled out of a tackle and then, a few seconds later, produced a woeful cross when QPR had managed to get some numbers in the box.

BOOKING! O'Grady goes into the book for lunging in on Hall in the corner. QPR haven't threatened yet and now there's just over a minute left.

That's a great win for Forest, who pick up their second win of the season and bring QPR's winning streak to an end at three games.
