Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has described the team's promotion to the Premier League as "pure ecstasy" following their 1-0 win over Derby County in the Championship playoff final.
The R's were second best for large parts of the match at Wembley Stadium on Saturday before Bobby Zamora scored with one minute left to seal the victory.
When asked how he felt about QPR's dramatic triumph, Fernandes told beIN SPORTS: "Pure ecstasy, disbelief and yet belief. I kept feeling we could nick it. We'd come so far. I felt the fairytale would end in a positive way.
"It feels great that we'll be playing the Premier League teams again. We're a bit wiser and smarter."
QPR finished the season in fourth place in the Championship table.
