Clint Hill backs Loic Remy to boost Queens Park Rangers

QPR defender Clint Hill believes that new signing Loic Remy can "kick start" the club's bid for Premier League survival.

Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill has claimed that new signing Loic Remy can "kick start" the club's bid for Premier League survival.

The French striker, who cost a club-record £8m from Marseille, scored a debut goal for the R's on Saturday as they drew 1-1 at West Ham United.

"It was brilliant to see him take that chance," Hill told reporters. "If we can keep the ball and create a few more chances for him he will go on and be a great signing for us.

"Hopefully he can kick start our campaign."

Despite Saturday's draw, QPR remain five points from safety at the bottom of the Premier League table.
