Queens Park Rangers forward Junior Hoilett is confident that his "unlucky" side can get off to a winning start against West Ham United this evening.
The former Blackburn Rovers player, who worked under Hammers boss Sam Allardyce during his time at Ewood Park, joined the R's, who are yet to win a Premier League game, in the summer.
"We've been unlucky," the Daily Star quotes Hoilett as saying. "But we'll shape up at the back. Monday will be the same kind of long balls we faced against Reading.
"Sam has a big target man up front too. We'll just have to cope with that and work as a team to get around it. Sam taught me a lot when I was at Blackburn. He's a great manager but I'm looking forward to getting a few points off him!"
QPR currently sit at the bottom of the league table with just two points.
