Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway praises his players for being much tougher to beat in recent matches.

Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway has praised his players for the level of improvement they showed during their 4-1 victory over Norwich City in the Championship.

The Hoops boss said that his team are now more resilient and confident than they were when he took charge of the club, after watching them overturn a deficit to hammer the Canaries.

"If we were a boxer, we got smashed on the chin. The glass chin we had, we haven't got it any more because we have come back from 1-0 down - we haven't done that for 18 months," he told reporters during his post-match press conference.

"Now, we can do it. It hit us but it didn't look like it rocked us, because we've got belief. Why wouldn't you have that with the skill we've got on the pitch? Or the defenders we have on the pitch.

"In the end, Nedum [Onuoha] is marauding forward and everybody is loving it because we got that little distance in between us, and that's when confidence can come."

The win leaves QPR in 15th place in the second tier, two points behind Norwich directly above them.
