Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes believes that goalkeeper Julio Cesar should be regarded in the same bracket as former Manchester United shot-stopper Peter Schmeichel.
The 34-year-old made the switch to Loftus Road from Inter Milan in the summer and Hughes believes that the Brazil international can 'inspire' his teammates to turn their Premier League season around.
"He inspires people by his manner and his presence, and his performances as well," The Mirror quotes Hughes as saying. "I've trained with the likes of Schmeichel, Southall, and he's right up there.
"Not just as a keeper but as a guy and with his mentality in the dressing room, it's huge for us, a real benefit. He understands what it takes and it drags in people around him."
QPR currently sit at the bottom of the league table.
