Chris Ramsey has revealed that he would like to be given the opportunity to mount a promotion challenge with Queens Park Rangers in the Championship next season.
The 53-year-old took charge of the Hoops in February, but he was unable to guide the club to Premier League safety, with their relegation being confirmed by today's 6-0 defeat away at Manchester City.
There had been suggestions that Ramsey will now move on, but he has insisted that he would like to stay at Loftus Road.
"Yes, I really do [want to stay]. I've taken the club to my heart and I really want to be here," he told Sky Sports News.
Rangers have won just two of the 13 games that Ramsey has taken charge of.
