Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp hailed his side's second-half performance as they beat Blackpool 2-0.
Second-half goals from former Tangerines player Matt Phillips and Charlie Austin were enough to see the R's to the top of the Championship table and Redknapp believes that the victory is "really important" for the club.
He told QPR.co.uk: "We were a bit fortunate to come in at 0-0 at half time.
"They played well in the first half and coped with the conditions far better than we did.
"We just couldn't get the ball down and bring our creative players into the game. But we were much better in the second half. I asked the lads to play more football and they did just that."
Rangers play host to third-placed Leicester City next Saturday.
