Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has paid tribute to his team after their 2-0 win over Middlesbrough this afternoon.
Joey Barton and Charlie Austin scored the goals that kept Rangers top of the Championship table and Redknapp was delighted at the display his team produced.
"I've walked away from games thinking we could have played better, but I thought we were first class from start to finish today," the club's official Twitter feed quotes him as saying.
"I picked a team of footballers and just asked them to go out and play – and they did all I asked of them.
"Everyone wanted the football, everyone wanted to play their part and I thought we were excellent – each and every one of them."
