Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has praised his squad's progress in their 1-0 win at home to Sunderland, claiming that the Loftus Road outfit played well despite having had no "time to settle".
Charlie Austin struck in first-half injury time to help the R's to their first Premier League win of the season.
Redknapp told reporters after the game: "When you're sitting there with no points after two games you need to get a win and I'm delighted with the way we played.
"We started way behind everyone else. We brought players in very late and they didn't have time to settle and that showed.
"Even today I was worried, but I thought we came on an awful lot today."
QPR currently sit 12th in the Premier League table.
