Bobby Zamora has revealed that he was "pleased" to score on his Queens Park Rangers debut at the weekend.
However, the England international's strike was unable to spur Rangers on to victory as they slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Zamora has admitted that he would have swapped the goal for the win.
"I was pleased to get on the scoresheet but I would happily have traded my goal for the three points," Zamora told the club's official website.
"It was nice to score and obviously doing it early in my QPR career is pleasing.
"It gets that off your back and now I am hoping to add a few more."
The 31-year-old joined QPR on transfer deadline day from Fulham.
