Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer has admitted that the team must improve their away form if they want to avoid relegation.
The R's have the worst record in the Premier League when it comes to being on the road, losing all six of their matches so far.
Their latest defeat came on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at Newcastle United - a result that has left them three points adrift of safety in the table.
"We have played some good games away from home but we haven't been able to take anything from them," Fer told the club's official website. "We need to start playing as well away from home as we have done at home.
"We will need to start getting something away from home if we are to stay up. We know that's important and it's something we are keen address quickly."
QPR continue their fight for survival this Saturday when they welcome fellow strugglers Leicester City to Loftus Road.
