Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has named Joey Barton in his starting lineup for the visit of Derby County to Loftus Road in the Championship today.
Barton missed Wednesday's stalemate with Wigan Athletic through suspension having accumulated five yellow cards this season.
However, the 31-year-old comes back into the team at the expense of Gary O'Neill, while Matt Phillips replaces Niko Kranjcar as the R's look to recapture the form which has aided their promotion bid thus far.
Rams boss McClaren, who had been working as a first-team coach with the West London outfit prior to replacing Nigel Clough at Pride Park, has named an unchanged team from last week's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
Queens Park Rangers: Green; Simpson, Dunne, Hill, Assou-Ekotto; Phillips, Jenas, Barton, Hoilett; Faurlin; Austin
Derby County: Grant, Wisdom, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth; Eustace, Hughes, Bryson, Ward; Dawkins; Martin
