Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has revealed that he is still keen on a return to Marseille in the future.
The 31-year-old spent last season on loan at the French side before coming back to his parent club in the summer.
Despite admitting that he is enjoying life at Loftus Road, Barton is hopeful of playing at the Stade Velodrome again in the coming years.
"I had a great affinity with the club," he told Sky Sports News. "I had a great relationship and still do to this day.
"Hopefully one day I will go back and play there because I loved everything about being there. I know the feeling is mutual, but obviously I'm really enjoying my football at QPR."
Barton has two years remaining on his current deal with the R's.
