Queens Park Rangers midfielder Shaun Derry has claimed that he still has a lot to offer the club.
The 35-year-old made 19 appearances for the West London side last season as they were relegated from the Premier League.
Despite speculation over his future at Loftus Road, Derry hopes that he can still be part of manager Harry Redknapp's plans.
"I still feel I can play a role for the club," Derry told talkSPORT. "People might look at my age but I'd like to think they will judge me on what I bring to the football field and how fit I am.
"I have always prided myself on being one of the fittest at the club and I feel that I am in that same situation again."
Derry joined QPR from Crystal Palace in 2010.
