Hull City have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Queens Park Rangers striker DJ Campbell.
The proposed move was in danger of collapsing earlier this week over Campbell's contract demands but Hull are confident of completing a deal before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to the Daily Mail.
Hull are currently third in the Championship but manager Steve Bruce is hopeful that the striker's goals can give their promotion bid a boost following two wins in their last six games.
Campbell netted 10 goals in 17 games in a loan spell at Ipswich town earlier this season.
