Queens Park Rangers have reportedly told Newcastle United that they will have to pay £15m to secure the signature of Charlie Austin.
The Magpies have outlined the striker as their primary transfer target this summer to bolster their attacking options following their struggles in the second half of last season.
QPR's relegation to the Championship has all but confirmed that the 25-year-old will leave Loftus Road, but the Hoops are determined to get maximum value for Austin.
Chris Ramsey's men have put a £15m valuation on the striker for Newcastle to meet to sign the forward, while Southampton, West Ham United and Aston Villa are also said to be in the race, reports The Mirror.
Austin scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season.
