Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he has asked West Bromwich Albion about the availability of Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie.
Redknapp also revealed that the Hoops are in negotiations with today's opponents Tottenham Hotspur to sign Jake Livermore on loan until the end of the season.
The QPR boss told reporters: "We made an enquiry for Odemwingie. I don't know whether [chief executive] Phillip Beard has put an offer in but he was a player we spoke about and he was a player I was interested in.
"There is every chance we have made an offer but I haven't spoken to him (Beard) today.
"Livermore, yes. We are doing a deal to take Jake on loan. I like Jake, I'm a big fan of Jake's. He is a good young player and it will be a good experience for him."
QPR earned a battling point against Spurs this afternoon, securing a goalless draw with a dogged display.
