Rangers boss Mark Warburton has insisted that one of his challenges will be to bring back the club's fear factor.
Warburton joined the Scottish Championship side earlier this summer and has already been looking to rebuild the club with a number of new signings and proposed transfers.
"This badge, with the greatest of respect does not win football games. It's how good you are and if you prepare well," said Warburton, according to the Daily Mail.
"I used to say to Brentford players, 'We're not playing Leeds United's history. We are playing 11 players'.
"We have to get the fear factor back. But we have to work at it."
Rangers open their Scottish Championship account at home to St Mirren on August 7.
