Rangers have been held to a frustrating goalless draw at home by Stirling Albion this afternoon following a tight encounter at Ibrox.
The home side had two gilt-edged chances to take the lead early on, but Kane Hemmings failed to find the target with a pair of efforts from close range.
A header from six yards went wide before the striker turned a low effort round the post under pressure from two Stirling defenders.
Albion grew in confidence before the break and had opportunities of their own to break the deadlock.
Most notably Scott Davidson had time and space to meet a precise cross at the far post, but could only fire a wayward volley over the crossbar.
Stirling were more measured after the interval and went close again through Davidson, as his shot took a deflection off Lee McCulloch before being punched over by Neil Alexander.
Fraiser Aird forced a strong save from David Crawford soon after but Rangers were forced to settle for a point by a spirited Stirling display.
