Rangers are reportedly close to a deal to sign Accrington Stanley winger Josh Windass next month.
The 21-year-old had been targeted by Ibrox boss Mark Warburton since the summer and according to The Scottish Sun, Windass has made it clear that he wants to leave the League Two side.
Stanley manager John Coleman had claimed that no-one would be leaving the club in January, but it is now understood that Rangers are close to agreeing a deal for the son of former Hull City striker Dean Windass, who encouraged his son not to sign a new deal with the Lancashire side.
Windass has scored 16 goals in 64 appearance with Stanley since 2013.
