Brighton & Hove Albion forward Sam Baldock has reportedly undergone a medical with Reading.
Baldock has spent the last four seasons with Brighton, but the 29-year-old has been pushed further down the pecking order since the end of the last campaign.
That has resulted in the striker being made available for transfer, and according to the Reading Chronicle, a move to the Royals is almost complete.
The report claims that Baldock was due to undergo a medical with the Championship outfit on Monday ahead of finalising a switch to the Madejski Stadium.
Baldock has scored a total of 20 goals in 94 appearances for the Seagulls.
