Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Napoli.

Real Madrid can confirm a first-placed finish in Champions League Group C when Napoli pay a visit to the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have already punched their ticket to the last 16 with four wins from four so far, most recently easing past Portuguese outfit Braga 3-0 to assure themselves of a top-two ranking.

Los Blancos overcame Cadiz by the same scoreline in their most recent La Liga fixture on Sunday, and Ancelotti's men only need a point on Wednesday to finish atop the pile.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their meeting with Napoli, who sit in the runners-up spot with seven points on the board.

Luka Modric

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Granada)

Luka Modric made a rare start in the beating of Cadiz on Sunday, but the 38-year-old had to be taken off 20 minutes before the end due to a hamstring issue, and he has been ruled out of Wednesday's game.

Eder Militao

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Brazilian defender Eder Militao is on the long road to recovery from the severe ACL injury he sustained in the opening weekend of the season, and it will be another few months before he is considered ready to participate again.

Thibaut Courtois

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Similarly, Thibaut Courtois still faces weeks and weeks of rehabilitation from his own ACL problem, and even in the best case scenario, the goalkeeper should not be seen on the field again until March.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Granada)

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been missing for the last couple of weeks with the muscular injury he picked up in the warm-up of the three-goal win over Braga, and the Chelsea loanee will not be able to make his return in midweek.

Aurelien Tchouameni

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: December 12 (vs. Union Berlin)

Aurelien Tchouameni, however, is facing longer on the sidelines due to the foot fracture he picked up in El Clasico, although he should be in contention to feature before Christmas.

Arda Guler

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

The injury-plagued Arda Guler is still waiting to make his debut for Los Blancos due to a fresh thigh problem, and there is no indication when the Turkey international might be back in the first-team picture.

Eduardo Camavinga

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

While on international duty with France, Eduardo Camavinga came off worse in a collision with Ousmane Dembele on the training ground and was revealed to have ruptured a ligament in his knee, which will render him unavailable for several months.

Vinicius Junior

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Camavinga was not the only victim of the recent hiatus, as Vinicius Junior sustained a severe thigh problem while playing for Brazil and is unlikely to return before the end of January at the earliest.
