Dani Carvajal has leapt to the defence of Real Madrid teammate Isco, who was booed by the Los Blancos supporters during Wednesday's Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow.
Isco has struggled for regular action since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as head coach, leading to suggestions that the 26-year-old could leave the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid suffered a 3-0 home defeat to CSKA, and Los Blancos defender Marcelo claimed after the match that Isco had refused to accept the captain's armband during the European tie.
Carvajal has leapt to the defence of his teammate though, insisting that Isco "will not hide" during a tough period.
"I do not know if Isco was whistled by the fans or not," Carvajal told Movistar+. "The only thing I know for sure is that Isco is brave, he will not let whistles get to him and he will not hide if they happen.
"He always demands the ball, he always try to force changes in the game and to make his mark, and that won't change."
Wednesday proved to be the first time in history that Madrid had lost a European home tie by more than two goals.
