Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has warned his teammates to "stay alert" to the threat posed by Real Madrid when the two sides meet again in the Spanish capital next week.
The Old Lady hold the advantage in their semi-final tie following the first leg as goals from Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez helped them to a 2-1 triumph in Turin this evening.
Lichtsteiner was "happy" with his side's performance, but acknowledged that they would have to be just as good in the return meeting if they are to reach the final for the first time since 2003.
"We definitely gave Real a tough time tonight. We can be happy with the performance and result, we put in a top display," the Swiss defender told reporters.
"We know Real possess top players who can make the difference if you don't stay alert. It's impressive how good they are. It was a great showing by us and it's important we display more of the same next week in Madrid."
This evening's match also saw Cristiano Ronaldo score for a record-breaking 76th time in the Champions League, giving his side what could prove to be a valuable away goal.
