Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo believes that his team have "sent out a message" by beating Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.
A second-half penalty from Carlos Tevez proved the difference in Turin as the Italian champions recorded a 2-1 victory over the holders.
Pirlo, who started and finished the game in Italy, has also claimed that Juve are desperate to reach the final.
"We've sent out a message to the rest of Europe: we want to reach the #UCL final," Pirlo told UEFA.com.
Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo were also both on the scoresheet in Turin.
