Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly lost faith in the club's medical staff.
It is believed that the 31-year-old was left particularly frustrated by the relapse of a thigh injury that he suffered, which ruled him out of the Champions League semi-final 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Tuesday night.
According to AS, Ronaldo has now turned to physiotherapist Joaquin Juan, who is responsible for the conditioning of Chicago Bulls basketball player Pau Gasol.
The report adds that Madrid's number seven will undergo a stem cell transplant in a bid to return to fitness in time for next Wednesday's second leg against City at the Bernabeu.
Yesterday, Ronaldo's mother Dolores Aveiro claimed that her son would be "80%" fit for the City clash.
