Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has given his side a mark of "nine and a half" out of 10 following a dramatic season for the capital outfit.
Atletico secured their first La Liga title since 1996 on the final weekend of the campaign, but lost out to Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League on Saturday evening.
"Nine and a half. We fell half a point short," Simeone told reporters at a press conference when questioned on how his side performed out of 10 in the 2013-14 campaign.
Diego Godin opened the scoring for Atletico in Lisbon last night, but goals from Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo secured La Demica for Los Blancos.
