How Barcelona could line up against Real Madrid

:Headline: How Barcelona could line up against Real Madrid:
Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Barcelona could line for Wednesday's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Real Madrid in El Clasico.

Barcelona manager Xavi will likely be working without four players for the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final with El Clasico rivals Real Madrid on Wednesday night.

All of Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Ousmane Dembele are set to miss out with hamstring problems, while Andreas Christensen is also down with a calf injury sustained in the international break.

Boasting a 1-0 lead from the first leg last month, La Blaugrana will likely rely on Marcos Alonso and Ronald Araujo as their centre-back pairing in front of Marc-Andre ter Stegen given Christensen's injury.

Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde ought to hold the fort in the full-back roles - with the latter displacing Jordi Alba - while Sergio Busquets will return after enjoying a complete rest in the weekend's 4-0 win over Elche.

Eric Garcia's brief run in the first XI should therefore come to an end, while the fresh-legged Franck Kessie could also be preferred over Sergi Roberto, as Gavi completes the midfield three.

Raphinha served a La Liga ban during the win over Elche and can feel confident of coming back in for Ferran Torres here, in spite of the Spaniard's goal in their La Liga success.

Robert Lewandowski - who was injured for the first leg - will spearhead the charge after his brace at the weekend, while Ansu Fati has likely done enough to earn a start on the left-hand side too.

The 20-year-old's father recently hit out at Xavi for his son's lack of game time and talked up a move elsewhere this summer, but Fati was trusted from the off at the weekend and responded in perfect fashion with his side's second goal against Elche.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Alonso, Balde; Kessie, Busquets, Gavi; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Fati
