Real Madrid have headed into half time level with Barcelona after coming from behind in the first half of this evening's El Clasico clash at the Bernabeu in La Liga.
The visitors were ahead inside the opening five minutes when Luis Suarez played the ball forward for Neymar, leaving the Brazilian to drill the ball into the bottom corner.
Real responded well as they looked to get back on level terms within a few minutes, but Karim Benzema was unable to reach a Marcelo cross, before rattling the crossbar moments later when Cristiano Ronaldo played the ball back in.
Lionel Messi had a chance to double Barcelona's advantage midway through the half, but Iker Casillas just got his fingertips to the Argentine's shot to divert it around.
The hosts were awarded a penalty when Gerard Pique handled the ball in the box, allowing Ronaldo to slot the ball in from the spot to become the first player to score against Barcelona in La Liga this season.
Pique failed to clear a cross into the box just before the break, allowing James Rodriguez to attempt a header, but the Colombian could not control the ball in time, nodding it behind.
