Barcelona will be aiming to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they welcome Real Madrid for the latest instalment of El Clasico on Saturday afternoon.

The Catalan giants were held to a 2-2 draw by Granada before the international break, but they recovered to beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in the league last weekend before recording a 2-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Xavi's side remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, but they are third in the La Liga table, one point behind leaders Real Madrid ahead of this weekend's contest.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Real Madrid, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Sevilla in the league last time out.


Robert Lewandowski

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: October 28 (vs. Real Madrid)

Lewandowski was substituted against Porto in the Champions League on October 4 after picking up an ankle injury, but he has trained ahead of El Clasico and has a good chance of being involved.


Pedri

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 28 (vs. Real Madrid)

Pedri was able to train with Barcelona on Friday and now has a slight chance of being involved in El Clasico.


Frenkie de Jong

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: October 28 (vs. Real Madrid)

De Jong was forced off against Celta Vigo towards the end of September due to an ankle injury, but he trained on Friday and has a slight chance of being involved in this match.


Raphinha

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: October 28 (vs. Barcelona)

Raphinha picked up a thigh problem in the first half of the clash with Sevilla in the league at the end of September, but the Brazilian has a good chance of returning for this match.


Jules Kounde
