Real Madrid will be looking to make it four straight wins in all competitions when they continue their La Liga season away to Valencia on Saturday.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are currently top of La Liga, having picked up 10 points from their opening four matches of the 2021-22 campaign.

The capital giants also make an impressive start to their Champions League group-stage campaign on Wednesday night, recording a 1-0 victory over Inter Milan at San Siro to claim a huge three points.

Gareth Bale is set for an extended spell on the sidelines due to the hamstring injury that he picked up ahead of the clash with Celta Vigo.


Toni Kroos

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: September 19 (vs. Valencia)

Toni Kroos is working his way back from a hip problem and has been training on the grass at Valdebebas so could be in contention to return this weekend.


Ferland Mendy

Ferland Mendy continues to nurse the leg issue which forced him to miss the end of last season; the Frenchman is on a personal pre-season programme and will not be available for this contest.
