Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti had admitted that he is wary of rushing Karim Benzema back from injury too soon.
The French striker, who has scored 22 goals in 44 games for Los Blancos this season, has missed their last four games with a knee problem.
Ancelotti anticipates that he could be back in training early next week, but would be reluctant to gamble on his fitness ahead of a pivotal run of fixtures over the next 10 days.
"Benzema is doing individual work, we will see on Sunday or Monday if he can be with the team," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We are not going to take risks because it is not the final game of the season. It could be that they are available to play without taking risks, but not for 90 minutes."
Real, who are two points adrift of Barcelona at the top of La Liga, play Sevilla and Valencia before each leg of their Champions League semi-final with Juventus.
