Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is reportedly prepared to give Romelu Lukaku every chance of being fit for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
Lukaku missed out against Parma on Saturday due to a muscular problem and is seen as a huge doubt for his side's European fixture in the Spanish capital.
According to AS, a final decision on the Belgium international will be made over the next 24 hours, with Conte willing to make a late call on the former Manchester United attacker.
Lukaku has been a key player for the Milan giants since arriving last summer, scoring 41 times in 58 appearances in all competitions.
The 27-year-old has also started the 2020-21 campaign in excellent form, registering seven goals in seven outings, including two goals in two Champions League fixtures.
Should Lukaku fail to prove his fitness then Alexis Sanchez, who has also been struggling with an injury, could start alongside Lautaro Martinez in the final third of the field.
