Real Madrid have revealed that Gareth Bale suffered another calf injury in Saturday's 3-0 win over Levante.
The Welshman was sidelined before the international break with the same problem, but still featured for his country as they booked their spot at Euro 2016.
The attacker only played 45 minutes against Levante at the weekend, however, and is now expected to miss Wednesday's Champions League Group A match against Paris Saint-Germain.
"Following the tests carried out on Gareth Bale in the Sanitas la Moraleja University Hospital, the player has been diagnosed with a soleus muscle injury in his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed," read a statement on Real Madrid's official website.
Karim Benzema is also facing a race to be fit for the PSG clash after suffering a hamstring injury on international duty.
