Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that Eduardo Camavinga is in contention to start Saturday's La Liga clash with Real Sociedad at Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old has only featured from the start of a league match on six occasions since joining Los Blancos from Rennes during last summer's transfer window.
However, with Toni Kroos injured and Federico Valverde unwell for the clash with Real Sociedad, the France international is in line to be included in the starting lineup this weekend.
"He is doing well and he is motivated. He has struggled a little bit more as a pivot because that's a very important position tactically and for positioning. Maybe I forced him into playing there a little. He is an option for tomorrow's game," Ancelotti told reporters.
Camavinga, who was linked with a number of Premier League clubs before moving to Real Madrid, has scored once and provided one assist in 24 appearances at club level this season.
Ancelotti also said during Friday's press conference that both Kroos and Valverde should be available for next week's Champions League last-16 second leg with Paris Saint-Germain.
