Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio has claimed that his long-range effort against Barcelona on Wednesday was the easier of his two goals in the Supercopa de Espana.
On Wednesday night, Asensio opened the scoring with a swerving 30-yard effort which gave Real a 4-1 aggregate lead, but the Spaniard has suggested that it is his driven 20-yard shot at Camp Nou which gave him more satisfaction.
The 21-year-old is quoted by Marca as saying: "Both of the goals were important in the tie.
"The first goal was nice, as was tonight's, but the one at the Camp Nou was more complicated and was very important."
Asensio has started to emerge as a key player for Zinedine Zidane, with the youngster having contributed 11 goals in his first 40 appearances for the club.
