Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed that the relationship between himself and Jose Mourinho "deteriorated" while the Portuguese coach was in charge at the Bernabeu.
Casillas was Los Blancos' number one until Mourinho dropped the Spanish stopper in favour of Diego Lopez during his final season at the club in 2012-13.
During a tribute programme on Cuatro, Casillas compared his relationship with Mourinho to that of a couple that loses its chemistry.
"It was like any relationship which couples go through," said Casillas, who now plays for Porto. "It deteriorated and we didn't have the same feeling we had at the beginning."
Casillas also revealed that he sometimes goes to sleep wearing a pair of shorts that belonged to fellow stopper Gianluigi Buffon.
