The Chinese media are hoping to broker a deal that will see December's El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona played at midday Spanish time.
Midday starts have been introduced in La Liga this season to allow Asian audiences the chance to follow their favourite teams.
It has been reported that some 60m Chinese viewers watched Real Madrid put seven goals past Osasuna on Sunday.
Following the success of the 7pm start Far East time, several media outlets are keen for more, including Spain's largest club game.
"How wonderful it was to see Real play after dinner, without having to wait until dawn to see the game," read an article in The Shenzhen Daily, while national news agency Xinhua demanded a 12pm Clasico.
"The Real-Barca game should be played at the same time because it would have a massive audience in China," the agency said. "Spain wants to take care of its Chinese fans and this is why it has changed the kickoff times of the games."
Real coach Jose Mourinho recently went on record praising the early start for games.
