Former Spain coach Jose Antonio Camacho has leaped to the defence of under-fire Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The ex-national team boss urged Los Blancos supporters not to boo the veteran stopper as it will prove detrimental to his performance.
"To me, Casillas looks upbeat," the 59-year-old told reporters. "He's talking to his teammates and performing well in goal.
"If you whistle at a player, you make him make mistakes. The fans are there to cheer you on during the game."
Casillas has been criticised by sections of the Real fanbase over the past year, with some supporters calling for summer signing Keylor Navas to replace him in goal.
