Gareth Bale refused to acknowledge his Real Madrid teammates after scoring the winner against Levante on Sunday as he is 'frustrated' with his new role in the squad, according to a report.
Bale came off the bench to score the winning penalty in Valencia on Sunday night, with Los Blancos putting three points on the board courtesy of a 2-1 success.
However, the Wales international was noticeably angry after finding the back of the net, shaking off the congratulations of Lucas Vazquez before heading back to his own half of the field.
According to Marca, Bale's reaction was down to the fact that he is unhappy with his new role in the squad, while he was 'frustrated' at not being the first substitute off the bench against Levante.
Bale has now scored 13 times for Los Blancos this season, but he has struggled for starts in recent weeks and is expected to be back on the bench against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.
The 29-year-old, who has a contract at the Bernabeu until June 2022, has been urged to leave Madrid by former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Dimitar Berbatov.
