Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has played down the significance of his side's heavy defeat to Benfica in the Eusebio Cup.
The Spanish giants went down 5-2 to the Portuguese club in Lisbon on Friday in their second pre-season game.
However, Mourinho was not too concerned with his players' disappointing performance at Estadio Da Luz, claiming that no-one wins any trophies in pre-season.
"It was difficult because they had experienced players and their forwards exploited our defence," said the Portuguese in the post-match press conference.
"Benfica were focused. It is normal. Benfica are good in term of fitness and have shown that today.
"I hope to win trophies and hopefully win the Champions League, but no title is won in the summer. It was a pleasure to participate in this match."
Madrid won La Liga last season and also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
