Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that taking the La Liga title away from Barcelona is Real Madrid's main target this season.
Los Blancos, who have not won the Spanish title since 2008, are currently second in the table after eight matches.
"I want to win La Liga. I think this is the priority for the club," said the Portuguese attacker. "Of course if we win La Liga and we have the opportunity to win the Champions League, why not?
"Real Madrid have to think big because it is one of the best teams in the world. We're going to work hard this season and try to win that important competition."
The 26-year-old has claimed one trophy during his spell in the Spanish capital, having lifted the Copa del Rey last season.
