Real Madrid will be bidding to stay in touch with La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid when they continue their 2020-21 campaign at home to struggling Eibar on Saturday afternoon.
Los Blancos, who are currently third in the table, six points behind Atletico, will again be without the services of Dani Carvajal and Eden Hazard through injury.
Both players have made progress in their recoveries but will not be considered for this weekend's contest.
Toni Kroos trained this week and is in the squad, although head coach Zinedine Zidane will not take any chances when it comes to the German's fitness ahead of key games with Liverpool and Barcelona in the Champions League and league respectively.
Federico Valverde is thought to have a chance of featuring against Liverpool, but the midfielder has not been included in the squad for this match.
Alvaro Odriozola is now available following a spell on the sidelines, while Mariano Diaz has recovered to make the squad, but Zidane will need to assess the fitness of the players returning from international duty.
Madrid also confirmed on Thursday that Sergio Ramos had picked up a calf problem, meaning that Eder Militao could start alongside Nacho and Raphael Varane as part of a three-man defence, while there could be a spot in midfield for Isco if Kroos is not in the XI.
Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema are likely to feature as the front two for the Spanish champions, with Marco Asensio and Rodrygo Goes expected to be on the bench.
Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Varane, Militao, Nacho; Vazquez, Modric, Casemiro, Isco, Mendy; Vinicius, Benzema
