Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Real Madrid on Saturday, July 25.

The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Real Madrid eye possible reinforcements.

Florentino Perez oversaw a significant overhaul of his squad during the summer before focusing more on youth in January. As is always the case with Madrid, though, some of the biggest names in football continue to be linked.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.

Saturday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:

Real Madrid 'hoping to raise £164m through player sales this summer'

Real Madrid are reportedly hoping to raise up to €180m (£163.9m) in player sales during the summer transfer window.

Club president Florentino Perez has already ruled out a summer of big spending in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, with his focus instead on offloading a number of big-name players deemed surplus to requirements by manager Zinedine Zidane.

Los Blancos have already raised €43.5m (£39.6m) by selling Javi Sanchez and Achraf Hakimi to Real Valladolid and Inter Milan respectively, and Marca reports that at least three more players will follow.

Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez are Madrid's top priorities to push out of the club in order to ease their wage bill, with neither player featuring in Zidane's first-team plans.

Bale in particular has reportedly reached a point of no return at the Bernabeu, although Madrid are wary of cutting his asking price too much nor do they want to loan him out while still having to pay a significant sum of his wages.

Benfica are thought to be interested in Rodriguez, although the Colombian's wage demands are expected to be a hurdle in negotiations.

Madrid are also keen to offload Luka Jovic, who has scored just twice for the club since joining for £54m last summer, although they are only interested in sending the 22-year-old out on loan as they feel that he could still have a future at the club.

Kai Havertz 'agrees five-year contract with Chelsea'

Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz has reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old has allegedly told Leverkusen that he wants to join Frank Lampard's side ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, despite interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, there is already a 'total agreement' between Havertz's agent and Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia when it comes to personal terms.

Schira claims that the Germany international has agreed a five-year contract worth €8m (£7.2m) a year plus add-ons, although Chelsea are yet to settle on a transfer fee with Leverkusen.

A recent report claimed that the Premier League club were waiting to make sure of a Champions League spot for the 2020-21 campaign before launching an official bid.

Havertz, who is capable of playing in a number of different forward positions, scored 17 times and registered nine assists in 43 appearances for Leverkusen during the 2019-20 campaign.
