Luka Modric will reportedly not be leaving Real Madrid in this summer's transfer window despite the recent speculation surrounding the experienced midfielder.
The Croatia international won the 2018 Ballon d'Or for his brilliant form at club and international level.
Modric will turn 34 next month, though, and it has been reported that the midfielder could be offered to Paris Saint-Germain this summer as part of a bid for Neymar.
According to AS, however, the former Dinamo Zagreb youngster will not be leaving the Bernabeu this summer as he is still considered to be a key part of Zinedine Zidane's plans at the club.
The report claims that Modric's absence from Wednesday's pre-season clash against Red Bull Salzburg was due to a muscular injury rather than the speculation surrounding his future.
Modric scored four times and contributed eight assists in 46 appearances for Los Blancos last season.
