Neymar has reportedly demanded that Paris Saint-Germain sanction a move away from the Parc des Princes before the summer deadline amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The 27-year-old, who joined PSG for a world-record £198m fee in 2017, has spent the summer pushing for a return to Barcelona following a difficult season under Thomas Tuchel.
Sporting director Leonardo did confirm last week that negotiations regarding Neymar's departure from Paris were "more advanced than before".
According to The Mirror, the forward is now pressing PSG to land an agreement with another club this week in order to ensure that the move is done before the September 2 transfer deadline.
Barcelona are keen to re-sign Neymar but their insistence of including a player in the deal, rather than paying the full £200m as demanded by PSG, is proving to be a sticking point.
More recent reports have claimed that Real, having abandoned their pursuit of Paul Pogba, are now channelling their efforts towards signing Neymar this month.
